Join us as we travel to Barcelona and dive the Costa Brava Medes Islands and who better to lead the trip than our native Spanish instructor, Rick Hormigo.
The Medes Islands are a group of small islands located in the Mediterranean Sea, off the coast of Catalonia, one-hour and a half drive north of Barcelona, Spain. The Medes Islands are a protected natural area and are popular for diving, snorkeling, and bird-watching. The Medes Islands are not a big tourist destination, but they are a unique place to explore the rich Mediterranean marine life and a good spot to relax and enjoy the nature. It's worth noting that access to the Medes Islands is limited to a certain number of daily visitors and we have reserved 5 days of diving in these islands.
Medes Islands and Estartit are in the Costa Brava region of Catalonia, Spain. Keep in mind that the Costa Brava region is quite large and there are many other historic towns, Medieval Villages, beaches and nature reserves to explore.
Rick's familiarity with the dive operation and dive area makes him the ideal guide for this trip. The price of $1599 (subject change, single suppliment and non-diver rates available) does not includes airfare but does include:
